Information For Livestock Projects
Every Ag teacher, has their own distinct SAE Project they coach. From the smallest chicken to the biggest pig, here at Firebaugh FFA you can raise almost anything!
Ms. Smith
Here at Firebaugh FFA, Ms. Smith focuses all her attention on her rabbit barn. If you ever have been there, you will see how there are a lot of rabbits. These rabbits are Ms. Smiths pride and joy. She loves showing them at fairs and also is a ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) judge and the 1000th one at that!
To contact Ms. Smith about a breeding rabbit project or a market rabbit for fair, contact her in her classroom or send her an email!

Mr. Lieb
Live laugh Lieb is a very powerful and popular saying to all of Mr. Lieb’s students. Lieb focuses on poultry and wants the best out of everyone showing them! Although he may or may not teach showmanship, he is still very strict how he wants things. This ranges from fixing the chicken barns netting to getting those payments on time.
To contact Mr. Lieb to show chickens, ducks, and turkeys for the next fair, contact him by either going to his classroom or sending him an email!

Mr. Ortiz
Although sometimes strict, Mr. Ortiz aka Beavergod (@beavergod117 on tiktok go follow him!) is a fun one to mess around with. Either this being playing with him clash royale and then him making fun of you for the rest of eternity or him just making fun of you all day every day for the rest of your time at Firebaugh High School. Being around him feels more like a friendship than a teacher and student situation. Although he is very relaxed with everything except, if it involves showmanship and pigs which he does not mess around.
To Contact Mr. Ortiz about showing a hog/pig at the next fair, contact him by either seeing him wandering the school, his email, or his classroom.

Ms. Martinez
Ms. Martinez is a unique teacher to say the least, she is always so strict and when she says things need to get done, things need to get done. She is always on her A game even if she is carrying around her baby or her puppy. She is always ready to do what is needed. Although she is strict sometimes, she is very kind on the inside always willing to help out students who need it. Ms. Martinez does NOT play around when it comes to sheep and goat practices. On time or else…
To Contact Ms. Martinez about showing a sheep or a goat (dairy or boer) for the next fair, contact her by visiting her in her classroom or email!
