Where it all began
Firebaugh FFA was started in 1976 after a new high school was built in Firebaugh. Prior to this, students from Firebaugh attended Dos Palos High School and were members of their FFA program. The chapter started with one ag teacher and has built its way up to six ag teachers in the chapter. Barbara Fulbright was elected President and the chapter was officially applied for, on September 1st, 1976. Mr. Hansen was the first Firebaugh FFA advisor.
